The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires (also known as Malba) is located on Figueroa Alcorta Avenue and is the ideal place to learn about the wealth of artistic expressions from this region of the world. The Malba collection includes twentieth century art, paintings, photographs, collages, sculptures, installations and objects by avant-garde, modern and contemporary artists. This is one of the largest Latin American art collections in the world. The museum also hosts other activities such as concerts, lectures, film screenings and cultural events for free. The museum's doors first opened in 2001 and an important museum in educating the public to foster their knowledge of Latin American artists.
