B&B Xaviera's Happy House can without a doubt be counted among the most original establishments in Amsterdam. Its owner is legendary Amsterdam diva Xaviera Hollander, renowned author, "Penthouse"-columnist, performer, raconteur and theatrical entrepreneur. This gay friendly B&B has 4 rooms, including doubles and triples, with free WiFi internet access, TV, DVD and CD player, heating, safety deposit box and hair-dryer. Some also have private bathrooms. The elegant villa is close to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, in the plush Beethovenstraat neighbourhood. A place filled with art, musical instruments, and mementos; it welcomes a large number of international visitors. In addition, Xaviera and her husband are excellent hosts and cooks. When present at the B&B, they will cater to your requests for private meals for up to 12 people. A great place to hang out!

Die Unterkunft hatte eine ideale Lage,3min zur nächsten Tram.Das Zimmer war klein,aber witzig,auf Sauberkeit darf man nicht zu viel wert legen. Die Vermieter waren mehr als zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit,sie gaben auch für unseren Aufenthalt immer interessante Infos und haben einen göttlichen Humor. Translate this guest review

Le logement était très bien, avec accès handicapé, propre, ce qui manquait peut-être c'était un coin WC/salle de bain dans la chambre même. Le B&B est assez éloigné du centre (3-4 km) mais accessible facilement avec le tram ligne 5. Je dirais que la chambre était un poil petite mais rien de grave. Translate this guest review
