Location is the biggest advantage of this hostel, you can walk from there to all major attractions. The staff is very helpful and kind. Be prepared for cold nights if you're going there in November like we did (no heating).

Dit hotel Diskouros is eigenlijk een echt jeugd hotel. Sober maar schoon, kleine kamers en door jeugd zelf opgeverfd met paarse kozijnen. Gezellig.

climatisation uniquement de 22h à 2h sur demande, éventuel prêt d'un ventilateur, propreté douteuse des couloirs et des chambres, salle d'eau et wc propre, paiement obligatoire en cash, petit déjeuner extrêment basic inclus (pas de lait, pas de jus d'orange) dans le tarif

Bon accueil. Cependant, cela ne mérite pas l'appellation d'hôtel car les chambres ne sont pas faites tous les jours. Hôtel qui n'est plus très frais. Sanitaire à partager et franchement pas terrible. Bonne situation tout de même ce qui est clairement difficile de trouver à Athenes pour pas trop chère.

Excellent location in Plaka, within walking distance of Acropolis, other sites and metro stations. Quiet, dead-end street. Breakfast not great, but adequate. Only complaint is the shared bathroom and toilet. Toilet didn't flush properly. Beware of pick-pockets in Plaka. We've been victims once. Overall a pleasant stay.
