Hotel Kolumbus, Berlin

The modern 3-star Hotel Kolumbus is a sport hotel in the Lichtenberg neighbourhood of Berlin, just a 20-minute tram journey from Alexanderplatz in the city centre. The hotel has been awarded the German certificate for quality, and offers 220 bright and airy rooms with sport-themed decoration. They are available in two categories: the standard rooms are very simple, and are ideal for groups or young people, while the superior rooms are more comfortably furnished. All of them come with private bathrooms, TV and Wi-Fi. They also offer one-bedroom apartments (46m2) which accommodate 2 guests, and additionally feature a kitchenette. The hotel is regularly used by visiting atheletes, and provides a range of services including special menus for training atheletes on request.

The Hotel Kolumbus is located just a short tram journey from Prenzlauer Berg, one of Berlin’s hippest neighbourhoods, packed with cool shops, bars and restaurants. The big attractions of the city centre, from the Brandenburg Gate to Museum Island, are also very easy to reach thanks to convenient public transport.
