As Hotel Istanbul, Istanbul

The accommodation was as expected; basic and clean but not luxury by any means. The staff were very nice, we arrived in Istanbul at 4am and were able be shown our room at 7:30 to drop off our bags, which was very accommodating. If you are looking to go out and enjoy the nightlife and sidewalk cafes, then this is an ideal location, it is walking distance from everything you need. Excelente ubicación, atención muy cordial, la habitación bastante amplia, luminosa y con calefacción central. Incluye desayuno normal. Las desventajas posibles son ruidos de la calle durante la noche (no siempre), parece que hay un club muy cerca; falta un poco de limpieza. Más que suficiente para descansar y dormir. La zona centralissima, a pochi metri dalla piazza principale Taksim e dalla via pedonale Istiklal Cadd. con un ottimo prezzo di alloggio per la zona in cui si trova l'albergo sono i punti a favore del hotel, dall'altro canto invece ci sono la struttura in non perfette condizioni, con scarsa pulizia delle camere, soprattutto i bagni non vengono mai puliti, tanto che le pulizie me le facevo da me stesso (ho dovuto pure rimontare il coperchio delle tazza del bagno da solo!) inoltre non mi hanno accettato il pagamento della camera con la carta di credito, pretendendo il pagamento in contanti, con un pessimo rapporto del cambio da Euro a Lire turche (ci ho rimesso con questo almeno 10 Euro!) e ovviamente non mi hanno nemmeno emesso una ricevuta del pagamento, dato che comunque non mi hanno pure mai registrato, in quanto all'arrivo non hanno nemmeno chiesto un documento d'identità!!! ottimo per una clientela giovane, ottima la zona ed il prezzo, ma pessima la struttura e la pulizia! Well located this somewhat sombre establishment had courteous if somewhat distracted staff, a standard breakfast that drove me to the starbucks around the corner after two days, but excellent internet connection and bedrooms that were well equipped fo their very reasonable price. Just two steps from Istiklal street - the most impressive parade of wandering people I have ever encountered. A plethora of excellent eateries and within walking distance of Galata, and the ancient city. Very plased with this last minute booking ! Diesen Gästekommentar übersetzen
