Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Hotel zufriedenstellend. Edinburgh Castle ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, was für das Tattoo von Vorteil ist. Ebenso sind andere Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus wird zur Zeit renoviert. Wir waren im renovierten Teil und mit den Zimmern zufrieden. Sie entsprachen 2 Sterne. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und schottisch, d.h., sehr herzhaft, aber viele deutsche Gäste suchten Käse. Wir haben uns den letztendlich selbst gekauft. Das Personal hat ihn dann ohne Probleme in den Kühlschrank gestellt.

Il personale è stato gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile aiutandoci anche se le nostre richieste non rientravano nelle loro competenze. La stanza era pulita e l'albergo è molto vicino al centro e ben collegato con l'aeroporto
