Hotel Merlini, Florencia

If you want to stay really central in Florence, look no futher. This nice and clean appartment is in a side street 100m away from the Dome, and near all the other major attractions. The disadvantage of this is there is a lot of noise on the street (though not many cars, it's mainly the liveliness of people walking the streets). Luckily the 2-person bedroom is in the back of the appartment which keeps out most noise at night. The appartment was well maintained, very clean, and the owner very friendly and helpfull. Almost everything you could need was there (fridge, washing machine, laptop) but if you want to cook there could be some more kitchen utensils like a simple cutting knife. Not that easy to find - it was on the third floor of a building (no lift)and was called Albergo Merlini, not Hotel Merlini. But it was "characterful" and the staff very friendly. Ideally located close enough, but not too close, to the city centre and very close to the bus station. Traducir este comentario de cliente
