Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Zentrum von Florenz, alles kann man fußläufig erreichen. Das Zimmer verfügt über ein Lärmschutzfenster, wichtig, weil auf dem Domplatz bis in den frühen Morgen der Geräuschpegel durch die vielen Menschen hoch ist (kein Autoverkehr, aber 2 Gaststätten liegen direkt unter dem Fenster). Klimaanlage und Heizung sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gab uns gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Leider gab es es erst ab 8 Uhr, meistens mussten wir noch länger darauf warten. Da aber die wichtigsten Museen bereits um 8.15 Uhr öffnen, sind dann längere Wartezeiten vorprogrammiert, d.h. es sollte schon früher angeboten werden. Gut war auch die Möglichkeit, mal einen Kaffee oder Tee im Zimmer zuzubereiten, wenn man pflastermüde eine Pause brauchte. Fernsehen war nur in schlechter Qualität möglich, nur italienische Sender, die flackerten. (Ich hätte gern Fußballergebnisse gesehen). Florenz ist eine Traumstadt!
