Hotel Manhattan, Bruxelles

The hotel was situated in an area which did not inspire a feeling of safety at night. The key to the room was a normal key not a card which means that anyone could have made a copy. There was no means to lock the door from the inside, no bolt, no chain and not even a key hole to prevent someone from inserted a double from the other side. The shower had no shower head so it was like having a shower under a hose pipe but the water was nice and warm.The shower then dripped all night long however tight I closed the taps. This is maybe normal for a budget hotel but I think tht the addition of a chain or bolt on the door would increase people's sense of security. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

Quiet, well-located but very basic. If all you want is a shower, a bed and some breakfast it's worth the money. But don't expect more than one-star "luxury". Tradurre questo commento del cliente

Sommariamente bene, specialmente per la posizione, però la doccia perdeva e quindi produceva un rumore fastidioso, e tutto era un po' vecchio. Però non conosco il mercato a Bruxelles, quindi forse qualità prezzo andava anche bene. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

Das Preis-Leistzungsverhältnis in Ordnung, das Früstückbüffet war zwar etwas lieblos angerichtet, dafür waren aber die Brötchen und der Kaffe besser als in den anderen Hotels, die ich bisher in Brüssel kennengelernt habe. Das Badezimmer war sauber, hat aber schon bessere Tage gesehen (Waschbecken hatte starke Abnutzungserscheinungen, Duscharmatur war defekt). Das Haus ist innen interessant, hat irgendwie den Charme von vor 100 Jahren (ist nicht negativ gemeint, man fühlt sich eher wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt), insbesondere der Frühstücksraum ist sehenswert. Anscheinend war es die tage vor meiner Anreise in Brüssel sehr warm, die Wärme liess sich trotz intensiven Lüftens in den Innenhof nicht aus dem Zimmer bekommen. Tradurre questo commento del cliente
