The 'Alfama – Fado Museum Apartment 1' is a cosy and comfortable apartment for up to two people, located in the centre of Alfama, in Lisbon. This part of the city is one of the most popular neighbourhoods of Lisbon. The apartment is just a stone's throw from the Museum of Fado, and all of the other neighbourhoods of Lisbon are nearby. Also, the Santa Apolonia train and metro station is just a half a kilometre away, so you can easily reach any of the city's sights, such as the Castle, Belem and Chiado. If you want to be in the most typically Portuguese part of the city, this is it, where you can hear the Fado being sung while enjoying a feast of traditional grilled fish.
The apartment measures 35 m2 and consists of a sleeping/living area with a double bed, seating area with table, kitchen area, and bathroom. The decoration is very attractive and warm, and you'll find all necessary amenities here, such as heating, hair-dryer, TV/CD player, towels and sheets, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. A USB internet modem is available for an extra charge. On arrival you'll be greeted with a complimentary bottle of 'Vinho Verde' and snacks, as well as a suggested program of activities in Lisbon. You're free to listen to the various CDs of Portuguese music which are provided. Pets are allowed and smoking is permitted.
