El alojamiento en los apartamentos San Fermín de Nueva York fue un lujo. Lo primero, que Bernardo y Maite nos trataron muy bien, y nos recomendaban sitios que visitar (incluso zonas menos conocidas para los turistas que resultaron muy interesantes), y nos daban consejos para movernos por la ciudad, algo que es de mucha ayuda. La ubicación es genial, con el metro se llega en diez minutos al centro de manhattan; y que nadie se sienta intimidado porque esté ubicado en Harlem: anduvimos por las calles sin ningún tipo de problema, sintiéndonos muy seguros, tanto de día como de noche. Ningún problema. La habitación en la que nos alojamos era preciosa, muy acogedora. Lo dicho, un lujo. Mucho mejor que ir a un hotel cualquiera, la verdad.

It's an absolutely lovely place. Bernardo, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean, spacious, quiet and well-decorated, and the place itself has a lot of character. It's very close to the subway with quick express trains to downtown. I'd recommend without hesitation.

Diese Unterkunft ist gemütlich, sauber, ruhig und durch die Nähe zur Subway-Station sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in New York einfach und schnell zu erreichen. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung findet man alle wichtigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine freundliche Nachbarschaft. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Bernardo, der Hausmanager, der durch seine freundliche, hilfsbereite Art die gute Seele des Hauses ist. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die wir bei unserem nächsten New York Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder buchen werden.

Ein tolles B&B für eine Woche Sightseeing in New York. Die Lage in Sugar Hill/Harlem ist sehr ruhig, sehr sicher (ich war auch spätabends alleine unterwegs), die U-Bahn (mit der Express Line in 10 Min. in Midtown) um die Ecke, ebenso Supermarkt, Drugstore und Starbucks. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, sehr sauber (Duftspender), das Frühstück entweder vom Vermieter Bernardo bereitgestellt oder schnell im Supermarkt geholt und in der kleinen Kaffeküche selbst gemacht. Der Vermieter Bernardo nimmt sich Zeit, alles zu erklären, die Umgebung zu erkunden und ist immer gerne mit Tipps zur New York-Erkundung parat. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft zu einem guten Preis!
