The Hotel Montecarlo is a 2 star establishment which, without a doubt, for its quality and distinction, could be a 3 star establishment. It is situated in one of the most touristy zones of the centre of Paris, on the Rue Faubourg Montmartre, between ‘Les Grands Boulevards’, the Mecca for shopping in the City of Lights, and the area of Montmartre. It is excellently communicated with all forms of public transport, and very near to numerous tourist attractions to which you can easily arrive on foot, for example, the Ópera and the Madeleine. The hotel has 28 rooms; singles, twins and doubles, classified in two categories according to price and distribution, in a building with 4 stories and an elevator. The décor of all the rooms is very eye-catching and warm. The rooms in the first category have a private bathroom (with WC, shower or bath and hair-dryer), satellite plasma TV, telephone, radio, alarm-clock, fan, central heating, safe, desk and double glazed windows. The rooms in the second category have all of the above, but with shared bathrooms instead of private. Both types of accommodation are no smoking. Breakfast is not included in the price and is offered for an extra 9 euros per person per day. The nearest metro stations are Grands Boulevards (line 9) and Pelletier (line 7), both of which are situated within 500 metres of the hotel’s door. Its central location allows guests access to any spot in the capital of France, whether on foot or with public transport: Ópera (1km), Galeries Lafayette (700 m), Basilica of the Sacred Heart (1.6km), Louvre Museum (2 km) and the Eiffel Tower (4 km). Guests arriving in car can make use of the public parking area 200 metres from the hotel which costs 27 euros per day. Animals are not permitted.
