Accommodation in the Karlin area of Prague, an eight minute walk from the underground station Krizikova and tram numbers 8, 24 and 52 stop 250 metres from the hotel.
For me the location was good, but it is slightly outside the city center and there are very few restaurants and bars in that area. It is very easy to get into town wiht the Metro though. I like the quietness, but it will not work for everybody. Travelling alone I felt perfectly safe but I am sure there are people who would feel awkward walking around in the are.
Hotel was excellent though, clean, fresh, and my room was good, with windows facing the courtyard. I didn't find the hotel that easily, fact is I passed it a few times, and had to turn around, so make sure you really have the street number, it doesn't look like a hotel from the street.
I'll probably be staying here next time as well, I liked the place, and everybody was very friendly. But it IS a simple hotel, so don't come expecting 5 star service. There is no one here carrying your bag or helping you with the lift. This is a no frills place.
And notice! If you are very tall you may have a problem, it seems Czech republic beds are fairly short...Translate this guest review
Translate this guest review
