Really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely visit again. Good sized place with everything you need. We were lucky to be at the back so no noise when sleeping.

I booked this accommodation for a city break for my mum & I, as we were going to Barcelona for a football match.
On arrival, we were shown our apartment by the cleaning lady, and she explained that we couldn't have the apartment we had booked which had twin beds, as it was occupied. So, we had little choice but to accept an apartment with one double bed. Not ideal!
The apartment was furnished with Ikea furniture which had seen better days, but it was clean. Bed linen was fresh and clean, towels were clean and white.
Apartment was rather small, but had everything we needed for a short stay (except a kettle!). Couldn't get the TV to work except for a Spanish shopping channel, but that wasn't a big deal.
The entrance hall to the building had quite a bad smell, like damp or mould, but the smell wasn't in the room.
I was charged a fee for cleaning, but the room wasn't cleaned for the 5 days we stayed. Once I had paid on arrival, the cleaning lady handed me a few cleaning cloths and sent us on our way - we never saw her again!
The apartments are very central, only a short walk to La Rambla/Placa Catalunya, etc, and I guess much cheaper than staying in a decent hotel in this tourist-packed area.

We really enjoyed our stay here - very central and close to two metros. The room was lovely and we had a huge, fantastic private terrace. Host was very helpful and accommodating as we booked last minute. Would definitely recommend to others.

Good location in Barcelona. The flat needs some money spent on it as both the DVD player and coffee machine were broken but was clean. The owner, Juan, was a bit surly and unwelcoming but his housekeeper, Maria Jose, made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. She is a real asset to the business, without whom the welcome would have been very different.

October 2013

Me and my friend stayed at HHB apartments for a total of 5 days in october.
The apartment was exactly as described on the internet and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There are a few metro stations nearby so it is easy to get to different parts of the city, urquinaona and arc de triomf are just a few minutes away on foot.
We had booked five nights, but as we had to leave late at night on the sixth day they let us stay in the apartment that day for free.
Very nice and cheap apartments.
