Firstly Arrochella Charm apartment is no more (for 2013 anyway) - but the good news is that it's turned into Charm Nova apartment which is in a much smarter part of town (but not far away) and is very very nice. There is a lovely park right next door which smells of flowers. Plenty of eating and drinking choices locally - or Barrio Alto is a short walk away (better and cheaper eating locally though). Loads of shops within 2 mins walk - so no problems buying supplies. There is local public transport right on your doorstep - or tram 28 (for town centre, castle, etc) is about 5 mins walk.
Both Gorge and Antonio are very welcoming and both speak excellent English. There are quite a few stairs to climb but the view from the balcony makes that well worthwhile. Charm Nova is furnished with the same furniture as the previous apartment, so the photos are representative, but obviously as this is newly refurbished, everything is fresher and cleaner.
Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need (plus some that you don't!!).
A fantastic place to stay in a fantastic city - 5 out of 5.
