Not satisfied

Very small room
They asked for arrival confirmation and time and we told that we would reach around 8 in morning. They say oK but on reaching we had to wait till 1o'clock to get the room. They simply said no room is free. We were really angry as we made our train tickets after their confirmation. Moreover they did not accepted their Mistake and also did not allow us the breakfast. We waited at Mcdonald till 1 afternoon.
Very important- while booking the website say 20% will be charged upfront. It was false . They show the recipt with 20% but in actual 100% was deducted from the credit card. As on the last day when I went to the receptionist to clear the dues And asked them to charge the remaining amount. She said it's already charged last month. I was shocked as I did not knew how they got my credit card details and how could they charge my credit card with out my confirmation. Some how I believe that this company Budget place leaked my information to the hostel.
They served breakfast but it was average.
Don't expect them to speak English.
One more thing- there is no responsible person to look after reception. The reception desk is managed by cleaner who does not speak English.
They were also not friendly

First of all have to say about advantages of this hostel. There are only three – low price, there are three rather good restaurants & the dislocation – not far from the center. That’s all.
1.Very modest breakfast;
2.Very bad smell of soap powder inside room; So I had an allergy because of this soap powder.
3.Very small rooms – photos are incorrect & don’t depict real sizes;
4.There were no cups & teapot in room;
5.The area is very noisy – nearby bars open from 9 pm.
6.Bathroom is very unconvenient – no ventilation, in shower cubicle there is no door, so The floor was wet and slippery after a shower;
7.Shower have no regulation;
8.In our room the interior was terrible - pink plastic lamp-brackets, synthetic blankets, lack of light, small two-person bed, old furniture is so old that I was afraid to break her, very thin doors and walls. Stairs in the room is hopping and can be quite dangerous.
I can say honestly - this is an awful hostel is the worst I have visited, I think it more smart to stay in more expensive hotel without pink lamps & smells.

Hostel is nicely located within city center less than 5 minutes walking from Chueca station. Receptionists are more than friendly, always helping. Wifi is working very well. Room was clean, quite big, decorated with taste - not like cold design you can find in hotel room. Bathroom toiletries has a very good standard considered its a hostel. Bed super big and comfortable. I could recommend this place for my friends.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Interesting and quirky decor, clean and well-maintained. Lots of steps up to 3rd floor where hostel is located, with beautiful, and worn wooden staircase. Room and bed was comfortable, good hot shower. Lovely balcony with street view. Would recommend this hostel, and would definitely stay there again.

A prefect place for people which are looking for a good value fo money. The stuff is (gay) friendly. Please note that it located in Chueca and Chueca never sleeps. You should be able to stand a noisy background all day & night long.
