Don't expect too much

We have spent 2 nights in the hostel. It has great location. That was the best thing about it. Also the owner (only Spanish speaking grandma) was very nice and talkative, however, sometimes we had no idea what was she telling us.
The hostel itself is on the 4th floor without elevator what makes it a bit difficult if you have a heavy luggage.
It is also very noisy at night. Grandma doesn't give keys from the main door to anyone, everyone has to ring. Even at night. Everything can be heard in rooms.
Our room was extremely hot and the air didn't circulate inside. We couldn't sleep.
You just cannot expect too much for that price.

simple and affordable

Very central and simple rooms with nothing extra, but clean and with a very nice lady who runs it. She wont give you a key to the front door, you have to ring the bell.

There is no ac and our room got quite hot some of the nights. Also the rooms fronting La Ramla (the rooms w balcony) get very noisy. Overall we were happy with the place anyway, and got used to the noise quickly.

Modestly but cheap, clean and great location!

Our room was very modest and it was very hot during day and night, but it was clean, owner is very friendly and nice and the most important - it is an excellent location ! Just at the beginning of La Rambla (main street in Barcelona) so it's close to many places and situated just opposite to the metro station.

Friendly hostal

A simple (very simple) and friendly family drowen hostal. Only speaking spanish but it worked anyway =) Good price, in the center (noisy) but if thats not a problem so go with it. The beds were made every day (not changed), glases cleaned och trash taken out, so it felt nice coming back at nights =)

The hostel was at the best location one could imagine. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean and cleaned at least once a day. The staff was really friendly, allthough they spoke only spanish, which made some things a bit hard for a English speaker.
