Avalon Apartments, Prag

The Avalon Apartments offer different studios and apartments sleeping 2, 3, 5, 7 or 10 guests in the centre of Prague. They couldn’t have a better location, with views which will make one understand why it’s called the City of a Thousand Spires. Nearby there are numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, concert halls (e.g. the Czech Opera) and theatres (e.g. the world famous Black Theatre) all within walking distance.
These studios and apartment are located in the "Melantrich Building" in the historic heart of Prague. The building complex is guarded around the clock; elevator and underground parking are available. The reception desk is open from 9am to 9pm.
The are different kinds of apartments: the studios can accommodate up to 3 guests in one double and one single bed; the one bedroom apartments sleep up to 5, in double or single beds; the two bedroom apartments sleep up to 7 in double or single beds; finally, the three bedroom apartments have a capacity for 10 persons, sleeping in double or single beds. All of the apartments are fully equipped with a kitchenette with fridge and dishwasher; cable TV (offers 35 channels, including CNN, CNBC, BBC, PRO 7, MTV) and 1 bathroom.
The subway stop "Muzeum" is only a few steps away. Conveniently located in the building are pizzeria, buffet style restaurant, coffee shop, Internet office and a money exchange.
Restaurant U Fleku is a good option, reportedly the oldest beer hall in the city, which serves up hearty Czech specialties such as pork, sauerkraut, potato knedliky and sausages serve as a good base for the city’s excellent beer. U Fleku makes its own dark beer well worth trying. Pass over the lovely Charles Bridge and head up to the Prague Castle for magnificent views of the city and river.
