The Hostal Abel Victoriano is situated in the centre of Madrid, in the very hip neighbourhood of Malasaña and near many of the sites. From here you can easily walk to Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor, Opera, Royal Palace and more! The three big museums, the Prado, Reina Sofia and the Thyssen can all easily be reached by metro. The hostel is close to Gran Via, a great place to explore the shops of Madrid and the cinemas. Malasaña is a beautiful little nook of the city with sunny plazas filled with outdoor cafes. The hostel is on the famous San Bernardo Street, in an antique elegant building. The single, double and triple rooms are very simple, with very little décor- this is a no-frills establishment, but neat and clean for a place to crash. There is a 24 hour reception where the friendly staff will be happy to help you with what you need. The rooms have a private bathroom and TV, not to mention heating. This establishment is non-smoking.
