Die Badezimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber, die Zimmer auch nicht, aber im Großen und Ganzen war es voll ok, das Personal war sehr freundlich.

New York abordable, pas un hôtel pour les amoureux, mais plutot baroudeur, très pratique pour dormir à bon marché à NY, bien centré, quartier sûr. Personnel sympa parlant français.

Read other reviewers and expected the worst. Called up the day before to confirm booking for the private room with double bed. When i arrived there was no over booking incidents or anything like that. My room did indeed have a double bed, room itself was small. Bit of a que for the shower/restroom first thing in the morning like any hostel would have. Stairs are the only option if you're not on the ground floor and there's one or two steps that aren't the most secure but overall i was very pleased with my room and the Lollipop in general. It was comfortable, secure and was in a quiet location three blocks from the subway.

Mi opinión es que el hostal me recordaba más a un Youth Hostel aunque tenías la posibilidad de reservar una private room dormías en literas por cierto muy cómodas y grandes. El personal que trabajaba era joven muy atento y amable. Un aspecto negativo y a destacar fue que durante nuestra estancia algunos lavabos dejaron de funcionar y había prácticamente uno por planta. Es un hostal muy frecuentado por gente joven había una gran entrada y salida de gente jóven por lo que no se lo recomendaría a gente de una cierta edad que busca comodidad en un hostal o hotel. No disponía de accesos para minusválidos ni ascensor. Buena situación muy cerca del museo de historia natural, del Metropolitan, la Neue Gallery y el Guggenheim. Disponibilidad de transporte público muy cerca y situado en un barrio tranquilo y prácticamente residencial rodeado de comercios, bares y restaurantes. Como hostal esperaba algo mejor pero queda compensado por su situación, medios e transporte y por el personal que trabaja allí. Se lo recomendaría sobre todo a gente jóven que lo que busca es un lugar simplemente para dormir y deescansar. Está abierto las 24 horas no cierran por la noche la puerta y puedes acceder cuando uno quiera.
